I'm Jewish. I'm also Mancunian.

Every other national party leader was interviewed by Laura Kunesberg during their conference.

Maybe the BBC thought as someone who also supports Palestine - I had nothing to say?

2025 will mark another bad year for the Dark Green Frit (grote parelmoer, S aglaja) with numbers comparable to 2023 and 2024 in NL (=low). Once widespread throughout the country, and numbers ten years ago still good, now reasonable numbers only on Vlieland and N-Texel (the islands in the NW).

This Buzzard was poisoned by a large dose of second generation rodenticide.
I discovered it in a Dorset Bluebell wood this April.
Please find some time today to complete the consultation.
These poisons are such a clear and present danger to our wildlife.

The measure for how excellent a city is should be how quickly you can see something wonderful.
It took less than an hour after arriving in #Hobart for @drdevildave.bsky.social and me to see a #platypus, which is of course the most wonderful thing there is. #Tasmania #MammalWatching #WildOz

Exciting news that the Kennet Valley Wetland Reserve has finally been given the go-ahead. The ancient, but innovative, rural town of #Hungerford & its unique Town & Manor (that upholds commoners rights, keeps commons & open spaces for all) will be creating a new wildlife & community reserve 1/2

A long walk along Portsdown Hill to see if I could find any Long-tailed Blues drew a blank but did throw up a pristine Wall, a species that is arguably rarer in this location than LTB? Two Brown Hairstreak eggs, some distance away from previous locations indicating they are spreading far and wide.
