As Yom Kippur ends, our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by today’s attack in #Manchester.

#BritainStandsTogether
 The photo has these words:
To everyone in Britain’s
Jewish community:
You are not alone.

We will not let hate or those who spread it win.

We stand with you.

Hugely horrified to hear of this attack on the Jewish community in #Manchester on this most Holy day of Yom Kippur. Our thoughts & prayers & action are there for those bereaved, injured & the Jewish community & all who are living in fear after this attack! 🙏💔

I've written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage, urging them to join me in condemning Elon Musk's dangerous remarks inciting violence yesterday.

As leaders, we must stand together and make clear Musk will face serious consequences for these actions.

There is nothing wrong, or racist, about flying the flag of your country, but the organisers behind Operation Raise the Colours are hardened and extreme far-right activists. @therestpolitics.bsky.social

Just a few of the more disgruntled comments we’ve heard from the sidelines this year. Turns out that being a culturally & politically engaged festival with a committed Christian faith and worldview really annoys people. But don’t let the naysayers cloud your view of Greenbelt. Come see for yourself.

Read my open letter with @laylamoran.bsky.social regarding #Gaza ⬇️
laylamoran.bsky.social
It is as bad as we have ever seen it.

The scenes of famine in Gaza are simply barbaric.

As MPs of Israeli and Palestinian descent, we hope though that recognition of the State of Palestine will serve to flame the embers of hope for peace.
