News out of Kerr County today regarding failures on July 4 is appalling. Kerrville is making Uvalde look good by comparison. In Tx our tax dollars go to putting the Ten Commandments in schools but not approving a warning system along a river prone to flash floods. Then we are to donate to recovery

Oddly enough our local news stations in San Antonio are not reporting ANYTHING about the new audio reports of 911 calls in kerrville/Hunt. Heaven forbid with Trump coming we have any reality or critiques of the Kerr Tx FEMA leadership. First responders can be proud. Abbott Noem have bloody hands

I live in So central Tx - my boys went to Boy Scout summer camp in Hunt Tx where campsites were on higher ground. This tragic event is heart sickening. I grew up in Iowa where every tiny town has a siren - aka noon whistle - that also warns of weather,but camp mystic that costs 4-6K per child can’t?
