Nebraska THC retailers contribute $139 million a year to Nebraska's economy. They provide 1,600 jobs and annually generate $7.7 million in sales tax revenue.

Nebraska also has a projected budget deficit that has grown to $451 million.

Is this what “fiscal responsibility” looks like 🥴

"The looming ban would shutter 95% of Nebraska’s THC shops in the coming years, costing hundreds of jobs and effectively wiping out an industry that, advocates have said, contributes $139 million a year to Nebraska’s economy."

Pete Ricketts voted for this.
'Devastating' — Federal spending bill includes ban that will shutter Nebraska THC shops
The House gave final approval to a bill that will end the record-long government shutdown — and eventually shutter most of the 300 shops that sell THC products in Nebraska.

The majority of Americans are good. We have heart. We have compassion. When we see others struggle, we want to lend a hand.

For too long, we’ve been divided and pitted against each other by those who crave obscene wealth and power.

Let’s change that. One election at a time.

That a federal judge had to block the Trump administration from pushing millions of Americans into hunger says everything about this President and the party he leads.

Grateful to our Attorney General for being on the frontlines of this fight.
In a major victory, a court ruled the Trump administration must use emergency funds to provide food stamps to Americans.

No one should choose between paying bills and buying groceries.

We'll continue our lawsuit to fight for our families and the services they deserve.

GOOD NEWS: A judge ruled the administration is required by law to use emergency funding to provide food assistance to families in need.

Trump has no excuse to withhold food assistance. If the admin does not issue SNAP, it is purely a cruel political decision, not a legal one.
