My best guess would be that he spends a few hours a day, clinging to this window, looking in. He’s NOT attacking his reflection; I’ve seen that behavior fm other make birds in spring. This is different. He knows it’s a solid, if translucent, barrier.

In spring, when I had a film up to save a very stupid male wren, this cardinal seemed to know perfectly well the difference between film and window. He (seemingly) very specifically and deliberately found the gaps.

Pan Am Flight 2001 was a special once-a-year round trip from JFK to the North Pole. It was a 747 stuffed full of toys, christmas decorations, volunteer staff dressed as elves etc., and 500 children from orphanages and the foster care system in NYC.

Here is what I think the research team to whom RFK Jr. just gave $1.6 million to do a randomized controlled trial of HepB vaccine in Guinea-Bissau is going to do.

Although the WHO recommendation is to administer the HepB vaccine at birth, infants in G-B usually get it at 6 weeks, not at birth.

I'm a one issue voter. Anybody who shits on the less powerful is ruled out. If you want to trample on the homeless, or trans kids (hi Gavin Newsom), if you stay silent about what ICE is doing, if you are ok with Palestinians or Jews being singled out, please just fuck off and go away.
Interesting how I haven’t seen a single person who tried to whitewash MTG’s violent history and claim she’s “coming around to our side now” speak a single word about her latest anti-trans bill.
