The truth of the matter is that if anyone but Charlie Kirk had been killed at today’s shooting, then Charlie Kirk would be out there right now using the shooting as pretext to deliver arguments designed to make sure that the next shooting would happen, and the next one, and the next, and the next.

Charlie Kirk spent his life‘s work and all of his energy and time targeting out-groups while arguing for a world in which gun massacres would be easy to enact, plentiful, and inevitable, and he became famous and wealthy doing it, and we’re now not supposed to mention that because it’s not polite.

Just bought a giant lot of development ROMs from Taito Japan that I'm gonna dump and dissect live a week from today! I genuinely don't know what's in here, but there are multiple unreleased and lost NES/Famicom games from this era, and I have reason to suspect that at least one is here.

RIP to the composer who was so essential to the texture of The Simpsons for over 20 years. i've enjoyed episodes since he left, but i can say without a doubt the background music is now terrible to the point of being distracting (it's shocking they don't even try to emulate Clausen's style)
Alf Clausen, Emmy-Winning ‘Simpsons’ Composer, Dies at 84
Alf Clausen, the composer who made 'The Simpsons' even funnier with his music for 27 years, died early Thursday. He was 84.

“I think there is a gap between what people use and their understanding of where that information comes from”

Unfortunately by the time people figure out how much they use Federally funded science 🧪, it may be too late to save it. 🫤

The concept of "scarcity" in Politics has to be one of the greatest lies circulated by reactionaries in this century.

"If X group has these rights then this group loses their rights!!"

Then X group and the other group have fuck all correlation so they make up some kind of bullshit correlation.

This is fucking trash. Why does everyone think they can tell stories better than people who have dedicated their lives to it? Why does Netflix want to make everything by committee? Stuff made this way isn’t art — it’s distraction. Art shouldn’t appease everyone. It should entertain AND challenge.
This is not allowing Creators to create. It's making them *generate* content.
This entire idea is bad.
People have no idea what they want & only a vague idea of logistics. Doing edits as a graphic designer was AWFUL. I can't even IMAGINE that process applied to film, or what abomination will result.
