How the Trump “National Security Strategy” is read abroad.
Meanwhile in Russia: inspired by the Trump administration’s anti-European stance, state TV host Vladimir Solovyov predicted that Russian and American combat troops will jointly storm European cities.

The war will end when Russia stops fighting. Therefore, pressure has to be put on Russia, so that they stop believing that they will win. Why is that so hard to understand?

One plan. Six pillars of international law demolished.

Trump's Ukraine plan requires the US to violate 71 international commitments, @EerikNKross has calculated.

It systematically contradicts the legal order America built over 80 years—from the Geneva Conventions to NATO's founding treaty:

We should get serious about sanctions. Russian missiles that kill Ukrainian civilians contain parts made in the West. And this repeated mass murder of civilians by Moscow should bring total boycotts on Russian gas and oil. And the Ukrainians should get everything they need to defend themselves
16 people were killed and 49 injured after russia’s strike on Ternopil. Missiles and drones hit 2 residential buildings and damaged an industrial facility. Rescue workers are still clearing the rubble. u24.gov.ua/nafo-dark-ni...

Putin knows he can continue his war without any pushback from US since he can always call or meet with Trump whenever he wants the red carpet treatment. Trump’s foreign policy is Putin first.
Both Lavrov and Peskov have now rejected any ceasefire deal or talks. The media needs to report this clearly and widely. Russia rejects peace. Front-page. Straightforward headlines.

Dear Europe, especially Germany,

Stop obsessing over what Trump will or won’t do. Hoping & praying America will step up so we don’t have to is dangerously stupid.

Step up yourself, destroy Russia’s war economy, & give Ukraine what they need to win.

Europe must defend Europe.

More evidence that the US constrains Ukraine and protects Ru in this war. Literally, the exact opposite of the favorite claim of some «anti-imperialists » that the US is forcing Ukraine to fight because the US wants to weaken Ru.

They're not "fair" concerns. Sovereign EEurope had a fair concern that Ru would invade them again and sought protection in a defensive alliance. Kellogg's statement sells out EEurope and implies Ru has a right to control its neighbours. It's deplorable.

I wish this were not deadly accurate. But it certainly is.

Musk’s smirking obliteration of an agency providing lifesaving services all over the world—with zero study of or even interest in the lethal consequences—should permanently stain him, his cabal, and his corporate empire.
"If there were justice in the world, Musk would never be able to repair his reputation... Musk’s sojourn in government has revealed severe flaws in his character — a blithe, dehumanizing cruelty, and a deadly incuriosity. This should shape how he’s seen for the rest of his public life."

Trump hasn't said a word about this. No condemnation of russia or his friend Pu who supposedly wants peace. Trump doesn't want to end the "horrible bloodshed". He doesn't care.

He wanted to help Ru by pressuring Ukraine to surrender and Ukraine refused. That's the story of the past 5mo.

There is only one way to end the war: put pressure on the Russians. The Trump people did the opposite: put pressure on Ukraine, and relieved pressure on Russia. They have made the war worse while talking of "peace."

Ukraine did what he asked; Russia did not; and now he will blame Ukraine and cozy up to Russia. This whole peace thing is a distraction from the ongoing war that Ukraine has no choice but to fight because it is being asssulted every day.
Ukraine accepted a ceasefire, Russia did not. This is Trump’s response: “if, for some reason, one of the two parties makes it very difficult, we're just going to say, 'You're foolish, you're fools, you're horrible people' & we're going to just take a pass”

At this point, Trump and Pu agree— peace is Ukrainian surrender to Ru demands. To further the common goal, today the Russo-American alliance voted w a bunch of dictatorships against an organization that's essential to the rule of law and democracy in Europe.
🤡 The U.S. voted against a UN resolution on cooperation with the Council of Europe – because it condemned Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The U.S. delegation claimed that, “resolution repeats statements unhelpful in advancing the cause of peace”
