Participation award winning photographer. I enjoy spending lots of money on camera gear then acting like I know how to use it.
Autumn reflection photography featuring golden aspen trees mirrored in a crystal-clear mountain lake. The vibrant fall foliage contrasts beautifully with dark evergreens on the hillside.

When the desert puts on its winter coat. There's nothing quite like fresh snow on red rock to remind you how wild this landscape really is.

Black and white Tuscan landscape with rolling hills and a solitary cypress tree. The minimalist composition captures the timeless elegance of the Italian countryside under dramatic skies.

Sometimes nature's simplest compositions say the most. Just cracked earth, one tumbleweed, and a whole lot of silence.

Rolling hills of Tuscany in spring, where golden wildflowers weave through endless green and solitary trees stand as timeless sentinels. There's a reason artists have been drawn to this landscape for centuries.

For #MonochromeMonday - a black and white Western Sword Fern that picked up some different light through the canopy of trees above it.

One of my favorite birds for #BlueSkyMonday! A female Snowie Owl taking flight in front of me. #Photography #Birds #Nature. They are up in the Arctic right now, but I have it on good authority that they are planning to return in early November.

Always drawn back to these wild northern beaches ❄️ Working on something more personal from the same place—quieter, more intimate scenes. Can’t wait to share more later this year!
For now, here’s a winter mood from recent trips. #landscape

From a recent trip to Moab to explore the amazing landscapes and overlooks it has to offer. While I did explore those areas I also spent time hiking some of the smaller side canyons looking for scenes like this. I am definitely drawn to the reflected light in these canyons.

One of those locations I find myself driving by fairly frequently but rarely stop. The reason I don't stop is the light is usually too harsh and a cloudless sky. When you do get some clouds and some soft light it is definitely worth a stop.

When you are out exploring areas it is easy to miss small scenes like this. The long dead host tree providing a foothold for the tiny sapling. My intention was to find a wider scene of this pond with reflections on the still surface but once I noticed it this was the only piece of a larger scene.
