For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

If people haven't seen it yet, the documentary from a few years ago about the making of the Tony Hawk videogame(s) is also really something, and he comes off really well in it
I think Tony Hawk should be up there with Bob Ross, Mr. Rogers, and Steve Irwin in iconic men who give positive messages. He has shown us we can follow our dreams, never too old to stop what you love and he is just a hilarious guy. Also I just watched him do a cameo in the Nutcracker play lol!

I'm no fan of Bill Clinton. To be Blunt, he's an anchor on the Democrats neck. But it IS funny to see the Republicans just... *FORGET* that their own predecessors spent a decade unloading every weapon they had on this guy and watching it all bounce off him like f---ing Superman.

It's not the "worst" Trump thing, but it's maybe the MOST emblematic of what a stupid joke this political moment is that the President is actively at war with *windmills* because 20 years ago someone built some near one of his golf courses and patrons complained about the view.

there are, and have been, legitimate procedural and machine learning techs: they handle the work internally in a program/system, and aren't necessarily reliant on the mega-data infrastructures that genAI is infamous for, but slimeballs took up "AI" to lump it together to finesse billions away
If we’re going to get really no quarter about genAI usage, I’m going to need people to learn the difference between AI and genAI real fast.
