None of our states asked for this, nor need this.

I and every U.S. Senator from these states are demanding Trump to end these deployments ASAP.

A really old trick conservatives use is to accuse liberals of supporting an idea that would make sense under liberal values but that liberals don't actually support for tactical reasons. So you face a choice of either accepting the false accusation or you argue against your own values.

Oregon National Guard Adjutant General, General Gronewold says if they are federalized, that he will advise the Title 10 commander to utilize National Guard Troops to PROTECT protesters at ICE facilities. This is the right answer.

A Colorado restaurant is helping out furloughed government workers! The special runs from October 6-10th, 11 AM through 2 PM. Furloughed workers get a free sandwich with a side or salad with a protein, plus one free beverage (including beer and wine!).

I think that denying the existence of externalities has been a strong element of rightwing U.S. ideology since the 1980s, when it first appeared as new classical types sneering about how small externalities were. In the '90s, GOP bio undergrads told me infection wasn't a thing any more.

I just completed my a.m. calls, asking my senators & representative what they are doing in response to the administration's Fort Sumter-like deployment of TX & CA Natl Guards to OR & IL over the refusals of their governors. I had checked their web pages, so I knew there was no news.
