Jacobin published an article about how socialism and liberalism can work toward the same ends, how left-liberals can be pushed toward economic democratization.

And well, yes.

"Economic democratization" is a meaningless phrase, so of course it can be adapted to liberal ends.

...Rufo, the late Charlie Kirk et al all described their ambition as a kind of counter-revolution. And what we are seeing here is hope that if the government stops working it can be torn down and remade from the inside as an effective ideological vehicle.

This is an interesting video on the success of the Mexican Left.

My biggest takeaway from this is the importance of predistribution, an idea I have often toyed with, doing radical economic policies on a shoestring budget. Although, I would shy away from the Mexican Left’s cultural conservatism.
