I love when he does this “You have too many things, you only need 2 or 3 things” bit to his base of suburbanites who have each and every individual consumption item driven to their house separately and who treat everything they purchase, from tissues to TVs, as single-use disposable.

Report pretty much nails it
"Her campaign made a critical strategic error by prioritising an appeal to moderate, suburban Republicans over mobilising its core working-class and progressive base, leading to significant erosion of support among these vital constituencies" www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

in other news, our grotesquely corrupt Congress just killed "right to repair" military reforms that saw massive bipartisan support and would have saved taxpayers billions of dollars
Congress quietly strips right-to-repair provisions from 2026 NDAA despite wide support
"I don't know how to interpret this, other than to say that industry prevailed in their influence over Congress," Greg Williams said.

folks we are into “breaking gerrymanders” territory here

we are going to win
This Georgia flip is in a district that the GOP drew to drown Democratic voters in Athens into a neighboring red county, Oconee.

But tonight, Dems in Athens were out in FULL FORCE to swamp that gerrymander.

The person who Republicans want to have complete control over literally everything with zero checks and balances knows less about how things work than most 5th graders.
there is no available evidence that donald trump understands what a tariff is, what a trade deficit is, and what the national debt is.
The way Trump talks about the problems he caused by unilaterally imposing tariffs is fairly insane, even by his standards.

WTF?
“Elissa, a 13-year old girl from Mexico, informed the judge she had no luck in finding legal representation. After answering a few clarifying questions for the Judge, McLean recommended the girl be removed to Mexico, prompting the judge to ask if she fears returning. ‘Sí,’ yes, she replied.”
There is no sight that more efficiently puts the lie to immigration “court” than the common sight of children “representing themselves.” Children too small to climb into the chair, children in pajamas who don’t know where they are, children not yet old enough to speak.

I keep thinking about NYT article early this week exclaiming how amazing it is that Trump's lawyers keep winning in the Trump Supreme Court even after firing all of the career lawyers: imagine covering politics in 2025 and not understanding how AG & Supreme Court despise rule-of-law & Constitution.
So you gonna drop your lawsuit against us right, Pam?

The follow up to his eventual explanation should be:

1)it was a US jury that convicted him.

2) Emil Bove, your pick for the third circuit and your own former defense attorney, helped lead the prosecution?
talking to reporters last night, Trump claimed of Hegseth's double tap strike that "I don't know anything about it," then moments later claimed "I don't who you're talking about" when asked his plan to pardon the former Honduran president

Lol, Zillow tried to rate the climate risks facing individual properties. The real estate industry *hated* it, precisely because it worked -- it made selling risky properties more difficult. So they rebelled & Zillow caved.
