The US does not have a universal single-payer healthcare system. Statements by health authorities greatly influence vaccine access because dropping vaccine recommendations give insurance companies an excuse not to cover them. Vaccines are not accessible if you can’t afford them.

And that’s on that 😌
AOC: One thing I love about Arizonans is that you all have shown that if a US Senator isn’t fighting hard enough for you, you’re not afraid to replace her with one who will.

We have to start changing how we talk about these facilities.

The Guantanamo 'detention centre' is a concentration camp.

The proposed 'wellness farms' would also be a concentration camp.

This isn't about making America healthy... this is eugenics and fascism.

Call it what it is.
RFK Jr said he wants to send folks who are taking antidepressants and ADHD medications to "wellness farms" in rural America where they will be forced to labor by growing organic food to "cure their addictions."

RFK Jr. wants to send people addicted to antidepressants to government "wellness farms"
The farms will "reparent" them.

Yesterday my bestie called me from work to read me an email that was sent to everyone in her office. She's a child psychologist at a medical clinic. The email begins: "We've noticed that some of you have pride flags after your names in your bio..." and my gut clenched. I thought, oh no no no ⬇️

When you become disabled - you don’t just lose your health. You lose your autonomy, independence, freedom and often … your friends & family.

Help doesn’t magically arrive. No one comes to save you.

In fact - most people will blame and abandon you. 🧵

I love saying "sorry, I'm not feeling well today" as if there has been any day in the last decade that I have "felt well"

The number of vulnerable people I know personally who’ve had to avoid or delay care is heartbreaking.

People are suffering without needed care because healthcare facilities refuse to do the bare minimum to keep them safe.

No one should have to choose between care and Covid.
Unmasked doctors and dentists make it difficult for people to get the care they need. 91% of clinically vulnerable people are avoiding or delaying getting critical medical work because Covid is worse option.
