If you are interested in faithful English translations of exceeding obscure Japanese subculture materials and manga history, I would recommend following and reading Taruby's writings! They are phenomenal and have helped me immensely with my doujinshi research. 🙇🏽♂️
Finally finished the talk between Azuma Hideo (吾妻ひでお) and Hagio Moto (萩尾望都). Two very important creators that influenced many, many budding artists.
Also, finished a translation with Kagami Akira, who was an important Mecha+Bishoujo artist (Tomino Yoshiyuki wrote a piece about him I translated).
