With DLSS4 and such AIs, as GPUs need less and less data to create visuals, it feels like we are just rediscovering books.

At the end AI will just get descriptions and create the visuals locally... Like reading a book and imagining

There used to be book burnings because that was the primary source of information for the masses.

Now government websites shut down and social media gets taken down.

Same goals, same dangers

The plan was always to flood the zone with shit.

Not everyone can respond to every outrage. That's on purpose. But no need to get mad at someone for focusing on stuff *you* don't think is important. Let everyone focus on what they want to focus on.

We probably don’t need to have this conversation but, “the biggest reason humans have such a large impact on the environment is that we want to provide a high standard of living for a very large population of people” is very different from “I want human population to crash.”

I’ve said as much during story meetings. What about the children who are already isolated because they feel different. Refusing to show them they matter and deserve to be in stories we see just causes them more pain which sounds to me a lot worse than having a conversation with your kids.
Pixar has removed a transgender character’s storyline from their new series #WinOrLose

A Disney rep says, “When it comes to animated content for a younger audience, we recognize that many parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms and timeline”

Sometimes I don't follow people because they don't follow me and I think they probably hate me so if I follow them then they'll be like "Ugh, gross, he followed me" because of how I think 100% of everything is 100% about me.

Overall I think there are many interesting ones that kinda reveal how people think.

But I just love the NYC one. Like, yeah, over 100 million people live in less than 1000km². Literally the population density of 130k people per km². 3 times that of Manila's, the current highest.
These survey results go around from time to time, and I wonder if the bizarre estimates are a sort of test-taking strategy: If you don't know the answer, just guess somewhere in the middle and you won't be too far off. today.yougov.com/politics/art...

Never really been an accessory person before but I have been wanting to get more into it.

But why does it feel like every single piece is either the cheapest thing that won't last two months or is like a high end luxury product :/
