Yeah, life might be smacking me around like a ping pong ball but I can still eat soup and watch videos about capybaras so that’s something at least

The daring jewel heist at the Louvre was a masterclass in efficient planning, skill and organisation. It's imperative that the culprits are now apprehended and asked to form a government.

So, breaking the law is okay if everyone does it? And it's bad if everyone is caught in an unbiased manner and fined?

I mean, who cares about things like the environment, or property rights, or the rights of Indigenous people whose land these projects are on? We should just let it all burn and watch the dollars flow in (to the pockets of a few select rich people).

One of the wisest things I’ve ever heard: old age disables everyone. When you build things with the disabled in mind you are building for yourself in the future.

Danielle Smith pushes for "parental rights" and "protecting kids," as justification to block teens from accessing lifesaving gender-affirming care.

All the while, she hires people who publicly tell teens they should be beaten.

The trend here? Smith and her staff pushing for stuff that hurts kids.

So… Who wants to tell the Governor of California that no matter how much he smiles at the camera Canadians aren’t going to magically forget that California is still in the US?

Fascism isn't a disease. Fascism isn't a disability. Fascism isn't a lack of education. Fascism isn't foreign.

Fascism is a defence of established power and privilege through the dehumanisation of anyone that challenges it.

In true Canadian fashion, I like to blame all of my bodily issues on the weather.
Headache? Weather.
Sniffles? Weather.
Depressed? Weather.
Turning into a wolf on the full moon? Probably the weather too, man idk, I’m not a meteorologist-

This man is trying to renegotiate a contract that
1. He has no right to negotiate (you’re not our PM Dougy, get over it)
2. The US is already violating, so why would they obey any changes in the first place
It doesn’t really matter if “there’s more to this than what we know.” That’s how politics typically works anyhow. What matters now is #Ford flinched. And everyone saw it.

Seven years ago I donated a kidney to save my sister’s life.

This week mine was saved by people who donate blood and plasma. I’m so, so grateful.

Please donate if you can. I plan on donating again as soon as I’m healthy. You never know whose life you may end up saving.

Campbells Soup is trying to pull a fast one.

Their soup hasn't been made in Canada since 2018, but they have printed a Maple Leaf on the label, representing it is.
The Maple Leaf is not an official Canada label.
This is a marketing ploy!

Beware!

Seeing “someone has to do something!” all the time is genuinely so exhausting. Perhaps even more so because I’m guilty of the same thing.

But when did I stop being “someone”? When did I forfeit that power? When did all of us do the same?

Easy to lose this in the noise of the day, but the prime minister of Canada just said the US president, leader of the global hegemon, wants to soften us up economically so he can annex us.

That is one of the most remarkable statements, and realities, in our history.

“What he wants is to see a total collapse of the Canadian economy, because that'll make it easier to annex us." This is the most extraordinary statement by a Canadian prime minister in the history of this country. The Trump administration is at war with Canada.

I still think not enough Canadians realize that Ukraine is also fighting a war that may very well end up on Canadian land. The bad actors want the same thing from Canada as Russia wants from Ukraine.
I see troubling times ahead for us in Canada.

There, fixed it for you.
Opinion: Its monopoly status prohibits potential service providers from entering the letter-delivery market, depriving Canadians of choice, and reducing the incentive for Canada Post to improve its service.
Next federal government should finally privatize Canada Post

So just to make sure I understand this correctly…

Canadians are upset cause our country’s sovereignty is being threatened. Americans are upset cause Canada boo’d their favourite song in protest and it hurt their feelings.

I guess Americans are the real snowflakes here
