A picture is worth 1000 words...

This appeared on the BBC News today, showing the increase in solar electric generation in the UK.

Not sure who produced it, but genuinely think this is a genius piece of scientific communication - the construct and choice of colour scale is near-perfect.

Chapeau!

Dropping the ECHR would mean no treaty protection against this in the UK.
Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents. They’ve had their necks kneeled on. They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.
More Than 170 U.S. Citizens Have Been Held by Immigration Agents. They’ve Been Kicked, Dragged and Detained for Days.
The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...

ER/Studio’s new AI engine – an update
It's not uncommon for data modellers to be asked to create a data model from some real-world data or from some form of data artefact, such as JSON or XML. Most of the initial effort required is the tool-specific keyboard and mouse operations. How good is this AI agent at reducing the time this initial effort takes?

Creating a new LDM in ER/Studio using their new AI engine
The latest release of Idera ER/Studio Data Architect provides a new way to create a data model - an AI agent. I haven't experimented much with AI, so I asked Idera if I could take a look for myself and create a video or two. They were happy to oblige, so I spent a few hours trying it out, and I love it. It’s easy to use and models are created quickly (within a few minutes). The resulting models are pretty good.

If Mr. Johnson knows the assassin's identity and what their motivation was, then maybe he should contact the FBI.

If he doesn't, then perhaps he should shut up rather than stirring up fear and loathing.

Grossly irresponsible

It just shows how far standards in society have fallen.
