Like a cool 65-year-old in the spry body of a 30-year-old.
I would love to spend one day on social media without seeing that fucking Norman Rockwell meme.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that if you hear a song from Beach House’s 2012 masterpiece Bloom, you must then listen to Bloom.

Violence is too often sloppy; it spills over. Misogynists kill a lot of men, racists kill white people, ICE in its attacks on immigrants and anyone who looks like them just killed a white US citizen. When you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail; when you're a gun everyone is a target.

I’m not saying that my pumpkin pie is the best, but I am saying that I’ve never had a pumpkin pie I liked better than my own.

My husband and I recently talked about the difference between Geese and Goose. He also played one of them in the car (the jam band). I could not tell you which is which.

I need to finally read Wuthering Heights so I can be properly justified in my irritation at the new adaptation.

Jesus christ every story about AI chat bot relationships is so BLEAK. It’s telling that 2 of the 3 that NYT featured started with a man whose wife was too depressed or busy for him.

The drop shipping takeover of Etsy was bad enough, but the AI slop takeover is extra depressing.

The new The Last Dinner Party album fucking rocks. It doesn’t hit you in the face as much as their first album, but it’s just as good. The Scythe is one of the best songs of the year.

I watched The Faculty over the weekend and the scariest part of that movie was Stokely’s transformation. You cannot tell me that Clea Duvall went from sci-fi loving mall-rat goth to THIS.

The My Neighbor Totoro soundtrack kicks ass. It’s my new favorite thing to work to. A Huge Tree in the Tsukamori Forest is a bop for the ages.
