Christmas - that special time of year where we can gather round and watch a classic picture with the family... oh, what are we watching? Holiday Inn? What a charmingly innocuous flick this is. Oh, we're coming to Lincoln's birthday, I wonder what family-friendly fun will transpi- OHGODINHEAVEN!!!

Some pies have filling and bottom-crust but no top-crust. Some have no bottom-crust. I am thus tempted to make a pie with no filling, but with top and bottom crust. It shall be called "Hollow Pie" (v. seasonal) and the trick will be getting the lattice top to stay both after cooking and post-slicing
