Finally, it's wrong AS A MATTER OF ETIQUETTE. Entering a total stranger's discussion and leading with your private anxiety is as off-putting in social media replies as it would be in real life. If you wouldn't interrupt a stranger at a party to announce that America is doomed, don't do it here.

We had a swarm of bees outside our home. Not knowing what else to do I called 311 who connected me to the swarm hotline. Volunteers came out to take our bees and then brought them to an artist who used them in a sculpture in a local museum.

You know what would get rid of homeless encampments? Provide the people living in them with permanent housing. Provide supportive services (mental health, addiction, rehabilitation, vocational, etc.) as needed to help people maintain housing. We could end homelessness. We choose not to.

Harming fewer people is better than harming more people. I don’t know how to get adults to believe that and will never understand why they don’t already
Fundamentally disagree with that. If you have an obligation to vote for the least bad candidate that could win, then it's not really fucking voting, is it? It kinda completely goes against the idea of Democracy. Complete and utter horseshit to help politicians avoid accountability.
