Please, CD, it's even a bigger ask!
Asking Trump to design a battleship is like asking Musk to design a pickup truck.
Trump: “The US Navy will lead the design of these ships along with me because I’m a very aesthetic person”

It is legitimately shocking that a company's $1.6 trillion valuation is based on 5 cars in Austin, Texas and an unlawful marketing scheme.

Tesla can be summarized as illegal marketing and illegal market manipulation to meet milestones for an illegal executive compensation plan. That's it.

Think what you may of Karl Rove, he most decidedly has excellent advice for Donald Trump. Advice he's been offering for months now.

Trump, incapable of being other than the lazy, stupid, narcissistic ignoramus we know so well, is certain not to take it.

SpaceX is proposing a $1.5tn valuation but is only placing $30bn of shares in the IPO.
Existing shareholders will hold 98% of the shares. By limiting the number of shares on the market, they may be able to slowly sell off without tanking the share price, leaving the retail rubes holding the bag.

The CA DMV won their lawsuit vs Tesla for FSD fraud & will suspend Tesla's sales & output in CA for 30 days.

The profit impact (<$1B) is nothing. The legal precedent is huge: FSD is not "self-driving" & Tesla lies.

This bolsters 2 class actions against $TSLA FSD fraud & more.

A quick 🧵

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

Morgan Stanley's new Tesla analyst cut his rating to Hold from Buy, with a price target of $425 ($1.5tr market cap).

He's negative, given his 34% cut to Tesla's Auto & Energy valuations to $95/share.

But, he makes up for this by hiking non-existent business valuations by 106% to $330/share. 🤡

Tesla makes up less than 2%.

Important reminder: without Tesla at an artificially elevated share price, Musk is nothing.
the only time Musk pulled cash out of Tesla, and the only time he's had tens of billions in actual cash on b hand, he used it to buy Twitter and build chatbots. He knows what the source if his wealth really is, and it isn't technological innovation, or making the best products.

This is near 100% confirmation that Tesla won't get a permit to roll out FSD Supervised in Europe.

My hunch is that the Regulator needs Tesla's FSD data, which Tesla has refused to submit even to regulators in California since 2014.

I wonder what Tesla has to hide?
