I'm sorry but I simply do not understand pirating books when libraries - and digital services like Libby - exist. It's not in my budget to buy 4-5 new books a month, but my library is sure as shit happy to loan them to me! And authors make money and libraries stay open! It's all good and important!
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.
