RPG player, I occasionally draw, former Pentex exec before getting blowed up. About a year in, and this place is starting to feel pretty good. I tend to mostly repost art I like.
Ah, cool, Guinan's now an enemy of the state.

#Nekovember day 29: Magical Girl!

I don't watch much magical girl stuff, just never been my thing, but I wanted to try drawing a MG that stays true to basic MG outfit design but with my own flavor. I like heavy metal, so I tried incorporating that in the elements that make up a MG outfit.

Designed a pair of hand-sized handmaidens for @wonderwaffle93.bsky.social 's Mancy.

Tella (right) is a prankster who loves scaring guests. Stricta (left) is polite and kind except to those who defy "Our Lady Grace's" whims. Those who disobey Mancy are crushed by Stricta's hefty tail.

I think the real question it raises is how useful CEOs truly are
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

My team has had at least one instance this year of my Project Manager showing us an email chain from a vendor's engineering manager, frustrated because it seemed like he couldnt get a straight answer. After reviewing, we were pretty sure most of the responses were AI generated.
It also raises further questions about how ethical, good, and useful the work of extremely well-paid executives is.

The question is: have d20 conversions done harm to a game line or publisher. (Thanks @chrishanrahan.bsky.social for the pointer.)

Yeah, I think so. I think they've done damage to the original lines, which wasn't repairable when d20 died out. And I think they've done brand damage.
A serious question: In the ~25 years that people/publishers have been converting their RPGs to be d20 system/5e-based, what examples are there of the conversion doing serious harm to the game line/publisher as a whole?
