Very tired from all that guarding

It snowed last night.

I took Pacey to the door this morning, and she looked appalled, then ran to the front chair and immediately began to stand guard.

No more snow will fall on Pacey's watch.

Thus the 1987 "All-Dressed" chips lawsuit, the 2nd most important legal ruling in Canadian history.
Canada has no pickles though
Could you tell her Canadians are here to be potentially trolled regarding pickles?

That might catch her interest, I dunno.

It's been nearly two weeks since I took that tumble, and I'm pleased to say that it only hurts a little bit.

Except when I carry heavy boxes.

What's the best resource that made you, personally, a better manager/organizer?

I had to consult this article today <https://creativepro.com/convert-text-outlines-exporting-eps-file-indesign/>

So yeah, that's how it's going.

The original Cyberpunk Night City book is DriveThru's Deal of the Day today. It's such a dense book, I still love this very 90s style of RPG citybook.

My doorknob fell off and I repaired it without crying. Please clap.

(Not programming-related. :D)

Following programming tutorials on YouTube reminds me of copying notes off the chalkboard.

And I think that's a good thing. Making me write and touch all the code seems much stickier than just explaining and providing sample code.

I accidentally did something that made my Dock auto-hide (no, not turning on the auto-hide option) and I've never been more panicked in my life. Thankfully it decided to come back to me.

Just got offered up to 50K in capital from an AI venture fund, addressed to a game store I don't own, don't work at, and never have.

The real issue is that Apple has rolled out Apple Intelligence as "all or nothing" instead of allowing people to choose which pieces of it they use.

This is bad for users — for personal and productivity reasons AND for lumping all sorts of AI stuff together in The Discourse.
Unlike most apps these days, Scrivener does not use AI in any way. However, if you’re on a Mac, you may see an AI prompt.

Am I glad I saw it? Yeah! Did I have a bunch of feelings while watching it? Sure did! Did I enjoy a single moment? Can’t name one!

And then he spent the rest of the ride hearing how great that is.
