I am loving FF7 Rebirth so much more than Remake. It's still quite linear, but the open world areas can be fun to just zone out in.

Finally finished the talk between Azuma Hideo (吾妻ひでお) and Hagio Moto (萩尾望都). Two very important creators that influenced many, many budding artists.
Also, finished a translation with Kagami Akira, who was an important Mecha+Bishoujo artist (Tomino Yoshiyuki wrote a piece about him I translated).

I want to give a huge shoutout to my small town library that brought in a bunch of manga in the early 2000's. If it wasn't for them, first bringing in comics like Usagi, I doubt I would be into manga and comics as early as I was.
You may think public libraries have some calculated, objective system for what they acquire...
No.
If your library has a decent manga section, it's only because of 1 to 2 people who 'know' manga, and their boss asks them what to get. Some rando can radically change the vibe of a library collection

I am currently designing my home office and workspace, and in my journey of looking things up for some inspo, I am shocked by how many people do not create work spaces for their needs, personality, or designed holistically to foster creativity. Just the same wood slat designs and consumer junk
