There is not enough Black SFF in movies and tv shows and it shows. To date, Nicole Beharie is the one of the few Black woman to ever lead a SFF tv show on a major tv network. This hasn't changed in the over the decade since Sleepy Hollow premiered. That is shameful!

When you don't defend the innate authenticity of trans identities, everything else goes back up for grabs.
Terrible Gallup poll today. Lots of bad anti-trans sentiment, but this one really blew my mind and should be VERY eye opening to our LGB folks:
