tl;dr: GenAI and game design concepts traditionally referred to as "AI" (enemy behaviors, pathfinding, etc.) are not the same thing, and I'm on my knees begging people to learn the difference, lest we see more bullshit claims like what The Escapist put out re: Blue Prince.

I really liked reading books and comics and watching cartoons when I was a kid. Fairly Odd Parents, Captain Underpants, and the W.I.T.C.H. graphic novels inspired me to start drawing and making stories of my own.

you are loved

Dear CEOs,
Stop trying to force GenAI into everything. The average consumer can do things just fine without GenAI. There was no demand for this. In fact, most people equate GenAI usage to mean the product its promoting is cheap and worthless. Listen to your customers.

People pushing AI in the arts dont understand that art is the process not the result
Writing is about the words and the meaning and how they slot together. Painting is about colour and texture and the physicality of the paintbrush on paper

There are too many things happening at once. And sometimes logging on can feel like being bombarded with a psychic damage depression cannonade instead of a needed quick distraction.
So if youre overwhelmed by it all.
