I still have multiple lore videos on my YouTube backlog because of this game. I tried playing it but it was such a slog.
NieR 3, a direct and immediate sequel to Automata, is a mobile gacha game that was taken offline and is totally unplayable today.
After "film trilogy that dropped a critical plot point exclusively via timed Fortnite event" and "video game series whose story only makes sense if you're aware of the events of a canon pachinko machine", I feel like there are whole frontiers of user-hostile narrative design waiting to be explored.

One of my favourites from this generation and I can’t help but feel it’s going to be forgotten. Same goes for Avowed. Love both games but they’re going to get lost in a year of awesome games.

Seeing that the new COD campaign is making all the COD fans mad makes me want to play it. The Infinite Warfare campaign is the last one that did that and that’s the best one.
