it rules that every day now is just watching everything in your life get more expensive and worse and then also constantly being told that nothing is more expensive or worse
Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post are at it again.

Not trying to burst any bubbles; but Spotify is over.

They are airing ICE recruitment ads, the CEO has been investing in military/AI tech, they barely pay their artists; sometimes a percentage of a cent per stream, they promote “fake/AI artist” playlists, and there’s major concerns about data use.

I’ve had absolute enough of Lonzo Ball (and Deandre Hunter). Lonzo Ball is the worst shooter in the league and keeps shooting (28% from 3, 30% FG).

He shouldn’t just be pushed out as the House Democrats’ leader; he needs to be primaried out of his seat entirely. Just a complete waste of a deep blue seat.
Jeffries: "The border is secure. That's a good thing. It happened on his watch. He wants to claim credit for it, of course he'll get credit for that. In terms of making sure that we actually deal with the issues that matter, including on immigration, there's a lot that's left to be desired."

This man ripped off teachers, nurses, small business owners - people from all walks of life and professions. Some lost their life savings. Not only did Trump let him out of prison, he also doesn’t have to pay back the victims.

Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

This has been my whole freaking life. Every time Republicans take power people are like goddamit this is awful, they get voted out, then two years later people are like hmmm Republicans again
Cosmically funny that, the American public has had less than a year of uncut republican governance, and they’ve decided that they absolutely hate this shit, spit it out

I can't get over the fact that they scheduled a televised Cabinet meeting, hyped it as a major event, planned it all out to show how active and in control Trump is ... and then he dozed off in the middle of it. Repeatedly.

For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.

If Hegseth ordered a war crime and lied about it, shouldn’t Ds try for impeachment? Put Rs on the spot. They might get a few defections.

Jeffries says not to expect Democrats to pursue Hegseth impeachment over boat strikes
"Republicans will never allow articles of impeachment to be brought to the floor," he said.

this is even sillier than it sounds: they didn't add chatgpt to the target app, they added target to chatgpt, so you can buy things from target while you're talking to your friend the chatbot (i assume you also have to give it your credit card number, which sounds like a smart and good idea)

There needs to be consequences for publishing lies.

1) Bruce Harrell is mayor. Why is this article framing a problem as the responsibility of the mayor-elect, rather than the existing mayor?!

2) Wilson did not promise to "end sweeps." This is a lie. Printing lies is propaganda, not news.

Yes. The public is sick and tired of MAGA lawlessness and absolutely expects Democrats to put a stop to it and deliver consequences for the goons.
Seems pretty obvious to me that the message for the midterms needs to be something that strongly messages we're going to get accountability for the lawless goons.
