Just to put in perspective how vile this is, tear gas is banned under the int’l Chemical Weapons Convention. There‘s an exception for domestic law enfcmt to e.g. disperse violent mobs to avoid even more excessive force. But against a handful of dads? It’s the very definition of excessive force.
Border patrol agents deployed tear gas on the 3700 block of North Kildare where residents say a landscape worker, a resident, and a woman on a bike were detained. Video from a resident.
