Overwhelming amount of media world chatter and concern about "60 Minutes" tonight. Why would CBS News promote the story about the Trump admin's deportations to CECOT on Friday, only to shelve it today? Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi says it is "not an editorial decision, it is a political one."

What really depresses me about the news industry is how many people in positions of power seem to hold the core values of journalism in contempt.
“When it fails to air without a credible explanation, the public will correctly identify this as corporate censorship. We are trading 50 years of ‘gold standard’ reputation for a single week of political quiet.”

1. BREAKING

Sharyn Alfonsi, a correspondent for 60 Minutes, sent an internal email to colleagues stating that CBS News editor in chief Bari Weiss “spiked our story” about the Trump administration and the transfer of deportees to a prison in El Salvador.

Khanna and Massie's remarks came after Sen. Tim Kaine said that Congress has other mechanisms to force the release of additional Epstein files.

A few reminders about the SCOTUS immunity decision for Presidents:

It does not provide immunity for prior crimes.

It does not provide immunity to the President's cabinet.

Similar to Roe v. Wade, it can be overturned in the future.

BRENNAN: What are you going to do to force DOJ to comply?

MASSIE: The quickest way and most expeditious way to get justice for these victims is to bring inherent contempt against Pam Bondi. That doesn't require going through the courts. We're drafting that right now.

The @oversightdemocrats.house.gov have done a great job on Epstein. My only suggestion to them, and to their colleagues, is that they say, instead of “we need transparency,” “we need the truth.” “We need the truth” is simple, kind of catchy…and true.
This photo, file 468, from the Epstein files that includes Donald Trump has apparently now been removed from the DOJ release.

AG Bondi, is this true? What else is being covered up? We need transparency for the American public.

The fact that random people on the Internet are outsmarting Trump's DOJ in detecting the removal of Epstein Files shows just how amateurish Pamela Jo Bondi and her D-list team are.

There are competent coverups and sloppy, easily detected coverups. This is the latter.

It’s important we call out the media attempts to soften the Epstein files.

These were not women.

They were children.

These rich and powerful people trafficked and raped children.

Why are we debating if pedophilia is 'really that bad'? To protect pedophiles. This carefully crafted PR narrative is designed to make you think children can consent to sex with adults. They can't.

After releasing the photo in Epstein's desk drawer of Trump with girls, they removed it. The picture wasn't new and had already been out in the public view, but now it's been removed from the official record. The DOJ is seriously corrupt and slimy.

HUGE NEWS from the new Epstein files:

Records show that Maria Farmer, who worked for Epstein, filed a "child pornography" report to the FBI in 1996.

The FBI has never before acknowledged that complaint. The case went nowhere, and mass abuse followed.
