I have reached that age when the decorating of the tree - which gets smaller every year - takes longer every year - because I need many breaks. Set up. Break. Get the ornaments from storage area. Break. Put on lights. Break. Decide the year's theme and pull ornaments that match it. Break. Break.

Poor Bella. Impacted anal gland. Too sore to be dealt with. 4 pills a day and try to keep her from bothering it. This wasn't the relaxing week for which I was hoping. Seems I can't get away from taking care of those in need.

Taking Bella to the vet at 1:30. She's got what I think is a yeast infection. She's eating and drinking, but she's really worrying the area and it's affecting her ability to walk and sit comfortably. Her parents are on a train in Europe but talked to the vet, as did I. Wish me luck. Poor baby.
