If you are still on Twitter/X, the time has come.

No excuses about how it's the only way you can follow some people.

Are they really worth enabling child sexual exploitation?
I put this on LinkedIn because that's where I think folks need to hear it, but TLDR: if you're on X, GTFO.

Sexually abusive content is not inevitable, it is a _choice_. If you stay on the platform, you are endorsing that choice.

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

I think the AI angle of this is obscurant. It doesn’t matter that grok is “an AI” whatever you take that to mean. Suppose X hired a team of guys to photoshop the clothes off of women and children whenever anyone asks. That’s functionally identical what happening here. It’s not complicated.
A functional country would shut Grok down permanently. Like, immediately. Right now. Last week. Whatever. Just flip the switch. Obviously.

Every wondered how many guns are in your suburb? We have built a tool that shows registered firearms by postcode across NSW.

I don’t care if you think homosexuality is a “choice.” But I do care if you choose to be homophobic. My safety, rights, visibility and identity as a gay person shouldn’t depend on whether you think I was “born this way” or not. You don’t need a biological reason to respect my existence. Just saying.

The Engine driver's cabin at Coward Springs on the Oodnadatta Track. This is an oasis in the middle of nowhere. A historic railway station on the Central Australia Railway with a cheap camping ground. You can even take a dip in the natural spa. Also, this is where I saw brolgas for the first time.

Kanyaka Station was a cattle and sheep station in the Flinders Ranges.
This once busy place was established in 1852 but abandoned following the terrible droughts of the 1860s.
The hotel closed in 1881.
With many old stone buildings, it's a fascinating place to explore with an interesting history.

Dear Politician,

You cannot show trans people “dignity and respect” while you misgender them in conversation, segregate them in public life, and deny them access to health care. Respect for someone means that you recognise their humanity and affirm their rights without compromise.

Just saying.
