For our first Xmas in our little apartment I found a little tree in a pot that I'm pretty sure is a juniper. It seems to be doing okay, though I still need to research what it needs.

Hearing people talk about this makes me so happy. I've been conscious about my burnout for the last 6 years or so, but the repercussions of ignoring my limits is something I've struggled with my whole life.
i often get complimented on how productive i am, but the reality is that i am VERY, VERY careful about preserving my energy. i haven't worked past 5-6 o clock in years. i take breaks. i get as much sleep as i feel like i need. i ask for deadline extensions. i go out when people invite me

Been ill a lot since moving into town, way more than usual. There are a lot of practical explanations for this, but for my own whimsical benefit I choose to believe it was caused ghosts that don't want to be left behind + ghosts that don't know what I'm about yet.
