Lest we forget, it was arrogant Silicon Valley VCs that crashed their own regional bank in the spring of 2023 with a Twitter-fueled online bank run. If the FDIC hadn’t served as a firebreak, we’d all be railroad hobos by now. I’m pro-deregulation but anti-anarchy.
