Me too! Or at least out of environments where someone might pressure me to use it inappropriately. For a moment it felt like we might take a turn back towards standards and simplicity, but instead the industry has decided to make its awful React codebases 50% bigger and see if that helps somehow.

I used an LLM-to-tokens-to-SQL tool that was really awesome. I'd love to see that come to wider data manipuilation, coding, and command line usage. It could be democratising.

One issue is the companies / their marketers know the easy money is in the vibey sugar rush and the tools in my experience aren't being aimed towards the careful, plodding mindset of a senior engineer. The most successful users like Simon seem to to be really in the guts building their own toolsets.
