There should be reverse Strava heat maps. Those spaces women don't go at certain times of day or year (or at all)? Don't build active travel infrastructure through them.

If women can't run around a park/down a road at night fearless then they'll not cycle through there as part of a journey either.

老婆 saw there’s a bad collision on 107Ave & the Groat bridge. Motorcycle in a million pieces. A protected bike lane is supposed to be installed there next summer. It should be a crime if the City leaves the slip lanes in place and doesn’t make all of 107 4 lanes, instead of 6-8 for that stretch.

Yep. The access to the detour southbound on 111 over the Henday at 9th was open this morning. By 5pm, not open. No signage. Had to flip northbound on 9 back to 12, circle around that neighborhood to access the detour, then repeat it on the way back.

No notice whatsoever.

Biked to a school board forum tonight; one way was 12 km instead of 7 km, because riding the Henday or Ellerslie means zero bike infrastructure. Safety, not distance, is what stops people from choosing active transportation.

Took the kids on an errand between Calgary Tr & and Gateway

No bike Lanes, just four lane car sewers and the sidewalk.

Sidewalk riding is illegal in Edmonton, but sometimes it's the only choice.

It's really interesting to look at, especially over a 30 day period.

My driving looks high because I went out of town for work for a couple days last week- only 15 of the 587km are actually in city driving.
