Welcome our new baby, Seven (of Nine)! She came with the name Seven and for a house of geeks, we HAD to add the “of Nine”. Esp because we absolutely *LOVE* Seven of Nine. She’s one of our favorite characters in Star Trek!

I dropped out of high school and in my late 30’s went to a community college for an AA. Even though I walked for my BA and 2 masters — Nothing could match the electricity of graduating with a class of first generation students students and hearing and seeing all the families was everything ✨🌟✨

We can agree to disagree but I am not going to belittle Black people for celebrating/dancing/shouting/stepping graduating from high school or college. You don't know what those folks went through to get that degree. I don't look like what I been through.
