The Washington Post refused to run this ad. Sure would be a shame if it went viral.

maybe this is a little spicy but if you’re a medical professional and you’re not masking by default, in this, the 5th calendar year of covid and with bird flu rapidly approaching, i simply do not believe that you deserve your credentials, or my trust in your understanding of science. 😀 👍🏻

"In fact, COVID is highly vascular, attacking the blood vessels and increasing your risk of blood clots. And at this late date, there’s no excuse for the public to be under the impression that COVID solely affects the lungs; it is a deliberate decision to leave people in the dark." 💯
Worked hard on this, and I hope it will be a useful resource for many.

According to a senior CDC official, some of the pages that were removed on Friday have been reinstated due to backlash from the scientific community and the public. Keep speaking up, it matters!

If you’re afraid to write your book because you think its content stands no chance in the coming climate, Remember that banned books (and books victims thought the world would never see) are the only honest window we have into some of the darkest moments of history. Write the book. #booksky

I love art. I love art-making. I love looking at other people's art. I love when a thought is woven into an image, into a written passage, into a song, into a tangible weaving. I love that for as long as we have been able to hold sticks and raise our hands, we have made art. no one can kill it.

NIH funding supports the vast majority of all biomedical research in the United States. Virtually every advance in American medicine and biological science comes from NIH. This is a blow against American science.

Call Congress, 202-224-3121.
All NIH study sections canceled indefinitely. This will halt science and devastate research budgets in universities.

They…turned off…National Institutes of Health grants? That’s nearly $50 billion of scientific research.
NIH appears to have canceled/postponed all of its study sections—the independent review panels that approve federal grants for health research.

Such grants fund the work/salaries of 300k people at more than 2,500 institutions

at the risk of sounding doom-y i think it's extra important to make more traditional works as marginalized artists. and make copies of them (physical and digital) in times like these. being able to hold artwork held by the creator does something emotionally. a value not determined by currency.

* C19 vaccine doesn’t prevent infection, may protect against hospitalization with severe illness & Long Covid but can still be infected first 2 weeks after vax & 2 months later as vax wanes
* well-fitted K/N95 respirators or better are the best defense
* ventilation & HEPA air filtration reduce risk
* Immunity debt is bullshit.
* COVID-19 did not magically go away.
* Avoiding infection is always best. There is no benefit of infection!
* There are multiple, simple ways to reduce risk for yourself and others.

If you’re still masking & taking Covid precautions - thank you.

If you stopped - it’s not too late to start again. There are people who will help you.

If you’re covid cautious & dealing with an infection - it’s not your fault. The system is failing us.

By making the effort you protected others.
