💙Do you have a favorite way or particular practice for remembering loved ones? Painting Skellies in honor of deceased loved ones, including fur babies & pets, is one way I practice the tenet of never letting loved ones die in the Dia de Los Muertos tradition.🎨

Today, I'm posting this Plymouth Fury I did as a nod to Christine, bc I had a headlight bulb changed in my car yesterday, & 8 hours later my car is dead! (I had only been painting for a year when I did this.) We used to have a car in our family that we joked was haunted, & we called her Nadine! 😂

I keep this Latin phrase close to my heart, "Dum spiro, spero." It roughly translates to, “While I breathe, I hope.” ✨

I've been thinking about families and legacy - families into which we are born & the families we choose. What legacy will I leave behind with my art & my actions?
