US multifamily housing is 6 times safer than single family homes - and safer even than older multifamily buildings

sprinklers.

it's why 6-8 story point access blocks are a no-brainer.

great research from @alexhrwtz.bsky.social & PEW

THANK YOU FOR LAST NIGHT! 🎉

We were completely blown away by the incredible response this event has had. Not only did we PACK THE ROOM by selling out of 180 tickets, we surpassed our biggest stretch fundraising goals.

TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED: $22,653

We are short over 100k homes in MN. A home is the foundation for a good life & healthy communities.
Who feels safe, healthy, ready to learn, or able to get a job without a home?

Reducing zoning barriers to new homes is a zero cost investment in public safety, healthcare, education, & workforce.

Congrats to @sustainstpaul.bsky.social and @moreneighbors.org on hosting a great Sibling Rivalry debate!

While it was fun to pick on Saint Paul for, we know that ultimately this sibling rivalry helps us both evolve stronger policies that benefit real people.

Don't know if it was the crowd of friends or the talent that delighted me tonight but what a brutally funny and mutually tender bi-coastal YIMBY party. Great job @sustainstpaul.bsky.social and @moreneighbors.org I hope you raised one million dollars ❤️ (if you missed it you can still donate!)

My favorite part of the Sibling Rivalry that @moreneighbors.org and @sustainstpaul.bsky.social hosted at @blackhartstp.com tonight was when the @racketmn.com editors were forced to talk about Saint Paul & they mentioned the survey in which I chastised them about not talking about Saint Paul enough.

Sometimes you've gotta hand it to 'em. Sustain St. Paul did bring the funny tonight with @blindeke.bsky.social 's astute observations on the bizzaro world that is Minneapolis mail delivery snafus.

... Is that a cape? Ope, nope.. it's St. Paul's -supposedly superior- city flag.

We're sooo close to our goal!

We've raised $2,541 so far and have another $459 in matching dollars we can unlock. Can you help us? actionnetwork.org/fundraising/...
