I’ve volunteered to help out on today’s Yr 1 trip.

Pray for me.

If anyone’s struggled to keep up with my threads on why the genAI bubble
Is a bubble, here’s a simplified pictorial explanation, the plug is OpenAI and the sockets are Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, Nvidia, and AMD
A power strip with the plug end plugged in to one of the sockets

Even if they were going to send someone to my house to tune in for me I’m still not paying that.

I worked in a cinema at the time & I *think* I can remember it being advertised with a hastily withdrawn poster where certain select quotes that had oversized text in them spelling out ‘FULL BLOW JOB SCENE’. Could be mistaken on what movie but not googling that at work.

100% They should also equate it to the number of flights in private jets, hours of energy expended in data centres etc etc but no, lets blame people who need this to breathe.

I'm guessing this is why the GP Practice keeps trying to switch me to a powder inhaler despite their own Nurses telling them that's absolutely not an option for me.

The bureaucracy has a meaningless target to meet and so of course the disabled and chronically ill must carry the burden once more.

As somebody with asthma who uses inhalers - SHUT THE FUCK UP. THIS ARTICLE IS SHAMING PEOPLE WITH A CHRONIC CONDITION.

"Significantly" My ass. You know what else does? AI Data centers - corporations - cows - asphalt - THOUSANDS OF OTHERS THINGS THAT ARE NOT MEDICINE.

Fuck you - fuck you again.
Inhalers contribute significantly to global warming, study finds
Millions of Americans using inhalers for chronic lung diseases like asthma may be unknowingly contributing to global warming, according to new research.

Can’t find the full article (admittedly not looks very hard) but equating it (over hold long?) to half a million cars annually (of the the approx 1.5 billion vehicles on the planet) is quite a reach. That’s before we get to how many people *need* the inhaler as a result of car emissions…..

I can only think trying to follow this insane tour itinerary would be the making of a murderer

This is the maddest tour I've ever seen in my life. It seems like he's doing more gigs than there are days in the year.
A quite insane tour schedule

I’ll watch that later on - not familiar with that series so could be promising instead of being stuck in a loop with TTZ & TOL

Sorry I can’t help. If it’s any consolation I’ve had similar with an old B&W movie/tv show which was Twilight Zone/Outer Limits style where the US Army seem to mass hypnotise an entire town who’ve lost time. Periodically become obsessed but never managed to find it.

Can remember my dad taping an Fx special off the tv which featured the Dr Blair/Thing autopsy scene, then showing that to me and my brothers at a young and impressionable age. Awesome movie. Still one of my favourites.

Good Morning!

Autumn and I am very much back on my “WFH while listening to Biosphere” shit
Vinyl cover of Biosphere’s The Way of Time. An abstract image that makes me think of a sunrise or sunset and the hues start orange at the bottom and move to purple. Darker lines suggest clouds to me
