We've gone from David Crane figuring out a way to fit 255 screens worth of Pitfall into 50 bytes (not KB) to companies not being bothered to test their game on a hard disk drive to see if it really needs to be 154GB to reduce load times
Helldivers 2 on PC has reduced installation size from 154GB to 23GB thanks to support from Nixxes buff.ly/YvXQnW6

if the barrier to entry to being an artist or writer is so low then just make art and write novels without AI. but you can’t do that can you.
There are basically only two positions in the debate about AI.
1. I’ve barely invested any time in learning how to use it effectively. AI sucks.
2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.
Position #1 has lower barriers to entry.

Back when I worked as a retail merchandiser, I was processing the returns once and came across a returned stapler labeled 'broken'. Saw that the stapler jammed and the reason was the staples had been placed upside down. Took a second to fix. The inability of some people to problem solve is amazing
I can’t stop thinking about this bad review for a pen I just got, they gave it 1 star because they didn’t know they had to take the cap off the pen tip for it to actually write
