Mirage F.1Cs of Escadron de Chasse Vendée, based at BA115 Orange-Caritat in the Provence, 1983, in 1/72 scale. The Mirages are Special Hobby, with panel lines thinned quite a bit.
Happy to hear Special Hobby is working on bringing the delta-winged Mirage IIIE/ 5 series to fruition at last. They had the Mirage "grand-papa" IIIC out for a while, but the later versions offer so many more possibilities... Hopefully in time for #BastilleBuild @laserpferd.dtun.de #histscalemodels

Surely the images that most captured my imagination and made me want to become better at scale modelling, were these from the Hasegawa 1990 catalogue's inside cover. Full of Cold War atmosphere and gorgeous vignettes inside a larger diorama... See atl text for more info. #scalemodels #plasticmodels

I usually visit museums for the architecture as well as the art. More the former tbh. Also really glad they sometimes allow visitors to have a crack at being creative themselves! 🙏

Some nice heavy metal flying things, specifically, my two favourite #aircraft for the week. I don't have definite favourites, so a weekly top two is a nice compromise. So... this week, I have been mostly liking:
the Blackburn Buccaneer and the F-100 Super Sabre.

Some nice heavy metal flying things, specifically, my two favourite #aircraft for the week. I don't have definite favourites, so a weekly top two is a nice compromise. So... this week, I have been mostly liking:

こんな小さなヘリコプターのキットなのにエッチングやレジンパーツがあってプラパーツも伸ばしランナー並みに細いのが有ったりなかなか大変だったけど仕上がって良かったねえ。キャノピー磨いて透明度を上げたのは大正解、楽しかった！！
