There will be those who will once again council empty reconciliation with Republicans, on the grounds that “we need to be better than them.”

But here’s the thing: we ARE better than them. Much better than them. Everyone is far far far better than them. That’s why they all need to go to prison.

Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

Adventures in framing:

Headline presenting this as a real-world question. Rather than as another sign of deepening vortex of narcissistic delusion and detachment from reality.

When prices were going up under Biden there was a constant deluge of news stories about it because the media did not like Biden and wanted him to lose. Under Trump there is not a constant deluge of news stories about coffee prices because they like Trump and want him to win

everything is on fire these days, sure, but how is it that 50% of all news stories are not about how I just spent $20 on a bag of store brand coffee at fucking costco

Thiessen having a good chuckle about his fired liberal colleagues - some of whom he worked with for 15 years - is a good reminder that token conservatives at mainstream news outlets are/were there to destroy them, not to contribute to them.

I don't take a dime from any PAC or lobbyist, including AIPAC.

I am proud to be one of the handful of Democrats standing up against Big Money.

He probably has a crack team working on that as we speak. They're trying to do enough crack until it seems like a workable idea.

If they wanted to reduce crime in Chicago, ICE and company would pack up and leave.

Not that it's good that the regime is doing this, it's pretty bad actually, but they've already been terrorizing tons of people who the press doesn't like or socialize with.

But it isn't supposed to happen to them!

He has been kidnapping people, throwing them into concentration camps, a bunch of random people are getting shot and he’s also been murdering random people in the Carribean but sure, this indictment is what truly scares me.

America, 2025: Government lawyers tell judges that the President can declare any protest he dislikes to be a rebellion, and the courts must agree.

Perry: DOJ's definition of rebellion would mean that
"literally all nonviolent protest” could be considered evidence of rebellion. Is that your argument?
Hamilton: The president has determined there is a danger of a rebellion, and you must defer to that finding

That would run the risk that they keep antifa-ing in another country where they aren't as easily reachable so they can't allow that.

They also need to let other people know that they might run into problems if they say things the regime doesn't like, so they'd better keep it to themselves.

I've been wondering why Dominion Voting Systems suddenly reached settlements with Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and One America News.

Turns out, it's been purchased by a Republican-owned election tech firm that insisted on it, per Axios.

There has been a lot of ICE activity in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago today. There has also been a lot of ICE watch and rapid response activity. We love our community, and we are showing up for each other.

You must defer to the president’s determination that there is an armed rebellion in Chicago, argues the govt’s lawyer.

That’s the Trump admin’s stance on everything. When the law doesn’t allow it, lie about the facts until it’s something that would be legal, then insist others live inside the lie.
