The federal government plans to eliminate services for LGBTQ youth who call 988, the national suicide and crisis hotline, according to a Health and Human Services budget draft leaked last week.
HHS plans to cut the national suicide hotline’s program for LGBTQ youth
In February, the program received an average of 2,100 contacts per day.

When I was 17, I opened my first checking account w/a couple hundred bucks. I didn’t meet the min monthly deposit, so they kept charging fees until I owed them money. It stuck with me—I still won’t bank w/BofA.

A few years ago I visited the National Museum of African American History & Culture with my grandparents. When we stepped out of the building my grandmother kept repeating the words “I lived it. I lived it. I lived it.”
She’s still here. That history is still in her bones. You can never erase that.

I'm listening to what he's saying and it doesn't make sense. So all they have to do is threaten to shut down the government (The government that is currently barely working for us now) and you'll let them do whatever TF they want. You're not fighting, you're rolling over & then trying to justify it.
