When my book came out last year I was tempted to go in and post about it (the freelancer's only pension is themselves) but the returns there were already so diminished the value was gone. And the book has done fine.

I left twitter nearly 2.5yrs ago. 50K followers but there was no regret. As an oft-home/solo worker did miss what I consider office banter/chatter, but BlueSky has replaced that. As a platform to share work/thoughts/preach - it was empty enough (ghost accounts + algorithm) I didn't miss it at all. 👋
