Salient point- however I did the opposite… it’s because most men’s ego is fragile and they would rather be right than have a spouse push them towards where they need to be.
It’s not her brains, but that’s kind of the point. Men like that don’t want to fuck women they think might be smarter than they are.

News to me- the coffee maker I have been fighting for a year would never brew a full pot for the wife- had to read the whole book- come to find out in fine print there is a high altitude mode- had to damn near to put in the Konami code to get it to go to that mode- wife is now happy with her coffee
