Officially ten days since I uninstalled all social/short form apps other than bsky and tbh I have SO many thoughts about it.
It's been great though, once the compulsion to "check" passed. Might just leave it like this.

I have to write a speech for my best friends wedding and my god am I struggling. Not because we aren't close enough, but because we ARE. She is my platonic soulmate and the other half of my heart, and I could wax poetic for eons about how much I love her, how proud I am of her, etc.

This year, my only resolution is: be brave.
So much of my life is controlled and crushed under the weight of anxiety and OCD, it feels like I can barely breathe some days.
And so, a reminder: courage looks different for everyone. It does not have to be perfect, or of any certain size.

Mycena haematopus, commonly known as the bleeding fairy helmet is a widespread #mushroom On young specimens it bleeds purplish-red when broken. The bleeding occurs from the base of the stem when the tissue is cut or damaged. So unique and beautiful! ❤️
