I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

I've known too many students in the La National Guard for this idea to sit right. Southerners joined Confederate armies knowing they were fighting to preserve slavery. Nobody joins the National Guard to invade Chicago. And the Texas Guard, as one example, is majority-minority.
Not going to stop thinking about the comment that Trump is sending Confederate armies to occupy Northern cities.
